If you are still worrying about those long slow curves in your neon lights and start heating the process of boosting the output in those areas then you need to read on..
You might have found that there are basically two kinds of these undesirable long slow curves. One is something that is viewed from the side and looks like a curve and the other is the one that is viewed end-on that follows the bend of a building but looks like that of a straight line.
The two main tip-offs available for your problem is for pulling glass into place and one for maintaining at plane surface, If you wanna bend your neon lights away from you then give a mope of stern concentration. Try heating the glass a little and pull it out in needed direction rather than bending it. For an architectural-type curve you have to first heat and cool the glass before starting the next step of double-back.
